Public Records Request Procedure

Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (CPRA), Government Code section 6250 et seq., the Escondido Union School District is required to “within 10 days from receipt of the request, determine whether the request, in whole or in part, seeks copies of disclosable public records in the possession of the agency and shall promptly notify the person making the request of the determination and the reasons therefor.” (Gov. Code, § 6253)

  • Send and email to both assistant_superintendent_bs@eusd.org and business_services_administrative_assistant@eusd.org.

  • Alternatively, you can send a letter to:

    • Escondido Union School District, 2310 Aldergrove Avenue, Escondido, CA 92029, attention: Business Services

  • Include the following:

    • Requestor full name

    • Date requested

    • Business name (if you are requesting on behalf of a business)

    • Requestor mailing address (Include street address, city, state, and zip code)

    • Requestor email address

    • Requestor phone number

    • Description of public record request
