Dear Juniper Families,

I want to update our school community at this time about our campus shutdown from this morning. School will resume as normal on Monday, March 10.

Late last night, during the heavy rain, rainwater got into our underground pipes, creating a backup of water that made its way a few feet into several classrooms and the office. The impacted classrooms are Rooms 8-18, as well as the pods in both buildings, and the front office reception and nurse's office. Due to the number of rooms that were affected, we needed to close school on Friday to give our maintenance team time to clean, sanitize, and dry the floors.

The cleaning crew worked throughout the night and will be working throughout the weekend to get our classrooms ready for our students to return. We can safely say at this point that we will have school as normal on Monday, March 10. And normal operations will continue.

Thank you,

Mrs. Cottingham
