Welcome back Jaguars! We hope you had a relaxing winter break and are ready to start the new year. We’re excited to kick off 2025 with fresh energy and a focus on learning and growth. Friday Morning Assembly - Our Friday Morning Assembly will be January 10, at 8 am. Join us as we gather to celebrate our Student of the Month. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
Winter Frost Day - Get ready for some fun! ASB Spirit Day – Winter Frost Day – is on January 10, 2025. Show your school spirit by dressing up in your favorite winter-themed outfits. Let’s make it a day to remember!
Vista Hill Parent Group - The second session of the Vista Hill Parent Group will begin on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 8:30 am. This session will run for seven consecutive weeks and is designed to help parents learn valuable strategies to better understand their children and strengthen family unity. Please note: These sessions will be conducted in Spanish. If you are interested in English Parent Group classes, please contact Vanessa Hernandez at 760-566-5036. We look forward to supporting our families through this wonderful program!
Upcoming Events:
4th Grade Field Trip - The 4th grade field trip to Coastal Roots Farm is scheduled for January 13, 2025. Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the day. We recommend they wear comfortable, sturdy walking shoes as there will be plenty of walking around the farm. Additionally, please make sure your child brings lunch if they aren't getting a lunch bag from our cafeteria, a water bottle, and a jacket in case the weather changes. We want to make sure everyone stays comfortable and enjoys the trip! Thank you for your support, and we’re looking forward to an exciting and educational experience at Coastal Roots Farm!
Panda Express Fundraiser - Mark your calendars for January 17, 2025, and join us for a fun and tasty way to support our school! The PTA is hosting a Panda Express Fundraiser, where a portion of the proceeds will go towards funding school programs, events, and activities. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy your favorite Panda Express meal with family and friends while helping raise money for our school.
