Principal's Message
As we enter the month of November, a time dedicated to giving thanks, I want to express my gratitude for our wonderful Juniper community. I am truly thankful for the kindness and support that our students, teachers, and parents continually show one another. Teaching our children the importance of treating others with respect and making positive choices is vital. This month, I challenge our community to embrace the spirit of giving by performing a random act of kindness. Together, let’s make a positive impact and give back to our community!
Veteran’s Day
Veterans Day is on Monday, November 11, and there will be no school in observance of the holiday. We take this time to honor and thank all who have served in the military. Enjoy the day off, and we'll see students back on Tuesday!
Hearing & Vision Screening
On November 19, our District nurses will conduct hearing and vision screenings for students in Kindergarten, 2nd, and 5th grade. These screenings are crucial for identifying any potential issues that may affect your child's learning and development. We encourage all parents to ensure their children are present that day to participate in these important assessments. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us support the health and well-being of our students!
Thanksgiving Break
Thanksgiving Break will be from November 25 to November 29. We hope you enjoy this time with family and take a moment to reflect on all we have to be thankful for. School will resume on Monday, December 2. Have a wonderful holiday!

Family Day at Lunch
This month’s Family Day Lunch will be with our 1st grade students! We invite you to join your child for lunch on Wednesday, Nov. 13. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to find parking and check in at the office. As a friendly reminder, we ask that you avoid bringing soda, “red or blue” chips, or energy drinks to help us maintain a healthy environment for all students. More information regarding the exact lunch time will be sent home as the date approaches. We look forward to sharing this special day with you and your child! Mrs. Rosenkranz's 1st graders will have their Family Day lunch on a different date.
Fire Drill
We will have a fire drill on November 20 at 9:50 AM. These drills help ensure that everyone is prepared to respond calmly and quickly in case of a real emergency, fostering a safe school environment.
ELAC Meeting
We will be holding an ELAC (English Language Learners Advisory Committee) Meeting on Wednesday, November 6, at 5:30 PM via Zoom. ELAC is a school-level committee made up of parents and staff, working together to advise school officials on English learner programs and services. We encourage all families of English learners to join us for this important meeting, where we will discuss ways to support and enhance the learning experience for our students. Your voice and input are invaluable!
PTA Chuck-E-Cheese Night
We’re excited to announce that our PTA is hosting a Night at Chuck E. Cheese on November 22! Join us for a fun-filled evening of games, pizza, and community spirit. This is a wonderful opportunity to support Juniper and connect with fellow families. We look forward to seeing everyone there for a night of fun and camaraderie!
Report Cards
Report cards will be sent home on November 22. Please be sure to check your child's backpack for their report card and take some time to review it together. This is a great opportunity to celebrate their achievements and discuss any areas for growth. Thank you for your continued support in your child’s education!
Every Jaguar Counts Rally
Join us at 8 AM November 22 for our Every Jaguar Counts Rally! We hope you can join in the fun and excitement! We’ll be playing Hot Potato and dancing the Macarena. Don’t miss out on the fun!
