Digital Education Workshop - Join us for a Digital Education Workshop on September 30 at 8:30 AM in Room 21! Learn how to use the Rooms app and stay connected with your child's teacher. Don't miss this opportunity to enhance communication and support your child's learning!
Bike & Scooter Safety - This is just a friendly reminder, for everyone's safety, please remind your child to wear a helmet and follow traffic rules when riding bikes or scooters to school. Let’s work together to keep our school community safe!
GATE Testing - The Escondido Union School District continues to offer the Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) program. All 2nd graders will participate in universal screening in November. 2nd grade parents, keep an eye out for a District letter with more information the week of Oct. 7. Parents and teachers can recommend 3rd-5th graders for screening. Forms are available at the front office and due by Friday, October 18. For more details, visit the office click here: EUSD GATE
Make-up Fall Pictures - If your child missed Fall Picture Day on September 18, don’t worry! The Make-Up Day will be Monday, September 30. Be sure your child comes dressed to impress! Please remember if you’re ordering pictures, be sure to send them with the completed order form and payment.
School Site Council - The School Site Council is a committee of parents, school staff, and community members that collaborate to improve the academic program through the compliant and efficient use of selected funds. We currently have four parents on the committee and we need to elect one more. All parents are volunteers and serve for two years. 2024-2025 Juniper School Site Council
Vista Hill Parent Group - Our Vista Hill Parent Group began on September 18 and will run for 10 consecutive weeks. Meetings are held in the VPA at 8:30am. During these sessions, parents will learn valuable strategies to better understand their children and strengthen family unity. Please note that these sessions are conducted in Spanish. Friday Morning Assembly - This Friday October 4th we will have our Friday assembly at 8 am. Hope you are able to attend.
ASB Spirit Day - Get ready to show your school spirit on Friday, October 4th for Fall Colors Day! Students are encouraged to wear red, orange, yellow, or brown to celebrate the season. Let’s fill the school with autumn vibes and festive colors! We can’t wait to see everyone dressed up!
Parent Conferences - Parent Conferences are scheduled for October 10th and 11th. Teachers have already sent home conference times, so if you haven’t received yours, please reach out to your child’s teacher directly. These conferences are a great opportunity to strengthen the partnership between families and teachers. As a child’s first teacher, parents play a key role in helping teachers understand their child's unique strengths and areas for improvement. Together, parents and teachers can address concerns and work on a plan for academic success. Please ensure you have your conference appointment scheduled.
