ELAC – ELAC (English Language Learners Advisory Committee) is a school level committee made up of parents, staff, designated to advise school officials on English learner programs and services. Parents are informed of the importance of attendance and the English learner programs available to their students. ASB – Friday October 13 is Movie Day. Dress as your favorite movie character. Show your school spirit!
Yearbook – Juniper Yearbooks are currently on sale for $25. Students were sent home with the order form last week. For more information call the office.
Lost and found – If your child has lost any items, please look through the lost and found. It will be in the front of the school for you to look through.
Low-cost computers – The San Diego County Office of Education and Computers to SD Kids are hosting a Smart Tools for Schools event from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 7, at San Marcos Elementary School, 1 Tiger Way, San Marcos. This event provides an opportunity for families to purchase a refurbished desktop computer for $100 or a refurbished laptop for $150. School Site Council – The School Site Council is a committee of parents, school staff, and community members that collaborate to improve the academic program through the compliant and efficient use of selected funds. Empathetic Collaborator – At EUSD we want to accomplish the vast potential of every student. Here at Juniper, our students are striving with the resources and support they need to be successful with our Wheel Classes every Tuesday and Wednesday. This month we are concentrating on Empathetic Collaborator. Being an empathetic collaborator, teaches students to actively listen, engage, and recognize diverse perspectives to achieve a common goal.
