On March 21, 2018, EUSD’s Del Dios Academy of Arts and Sciences hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for its brand-new STEM Lab. The state-of-the-art facility was made possible by a $100,000 grant from the Northrop Grumman Foundation.
This years' awardees were honored for showing kindness towards others, being inclusive and respectful, and serving as an example of peace and nonviolence.
Fifth and sixth grade teams representing all 23 EUSD schools participated in the 2018 EUSD Math Field Day on March 3.
In December 2017, the Escondido Education Foundation hosted their annual Innovation Awards and granted approximately $50,000 to EUSD programs.

On September 15, EUSD’s Maria Osborn was honored with the Life Changer Award at the San Diego County Office of Education’s Annual Summit on Student Achievement and Attendance.
On September 14, EUSD hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new two-story Science and Math Building at Mission Middle School. Approximately 100 people attended the celebration and took tours of the state-of-the-art STEM facility.
