Family Engagement

The Escondido Union School District (EUSD) encourages parents and guardians to become a partner in the education of their child through important opportunities for input, interaction, and involvement. EUSD offers numerous engagement opportunities for parents, guardians, and other significant family members.

New: Watch videos in the Family and Community Engagement Online Learning Series

The Escondido Union School District believes in the value of strong relationships with our families and community members. By working together, we can better ensure the success of our students. This school year, our district is adding a new resource: the EUSD Family and Community Engagement Online Learning Library. We will release a new video six times during the 2019-2020 school year, in both English and Spanish, providing you with important information on how to support your student’s academic success and social-emotional development. These video learning modules can be accessed from a computer, tablet, or phone. Go to the Video Learning Series.

New: District Family Engagement Policy

The Escondido Union School District Family Engagement Policy highlights the many ways parents and family members are active members of our school community. The district’s coordinator of Community Engagement worked with the district’s Family Liaison Team, the District Advisory Committee, and English Language Advisory Committee to develop this policy. The policy is available for review online in English and in Spanish.

Contact your Family Liaison

Every EUSD school has a Family Liaison who can help you build partnerships with school staff by coordinating comprehensive family engagement programs. If you have any questions regarding either district-wide or school-specific programs, please contact your school’s Family Liaison.
