Hello Rincon families, this is Mr. White, Rincon Principal, with school announcements for the coming week. This is a reminder that there will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, November 11th, due to the Veterans Day holiday. School will resume on Tuesday, November 12th.
Be sure to act quickly to express your interest in having your child participate in the Spring Break 2025 overnight camp experiences offered by EUSD. Selected EUSD 6th graders will have the opportunity to participate in the Spring Break trip to Camp Cuyamaca. Selected 7th and 8th graders will have the opportunity to participate in the Spring Break trip to SEA CAMP San Diego. Communications have been sent from the school district regarding these camp events. Use the form shared with families by EUSD to express your interest ASAP as space is limited. Informational meetings will be held via Zoom next week for both of the Spring Break Camps according to this schedule: SEA CAMP for 7th & 8th Grade families on Wednesday, November 13th at 4:30 p.m.; CAMP CUYAMACA for 6th Grade families on Thursday, November 14th at 4:30 p.m.
It’s hard to believe that we are approaching the end of Trimester 1 already. Trimester 1 officially ends on Friday, November 15th, with grades calculated by teachers. Trimester 1 Report Cards will be mailed home to families on Friday, November 22nd. November 22nd will also be our first Minimum Day of the school year, and school will dismiss early at 11:48 a.m. on this day as we head off to the Thanksgiving Break holiday week which will be November 25th through November 29th. There will be NO SCHOOL during the weeklong Thanksgiving Break.
