Hello Owls,
We know you are in a hurry to drop off your children at school and make your way to work or home. We ask that you please follow the rules of the road and not drive on the wrong side of the street to pull into our parking lot. We have had some close calls with cars entering on the left side of the driveway to cut the line of cars waiting to get in. After Spring Break we will place cones in the driveway to limit traffic entering to just one lane. We hope you understand and we thank you for your attention to safety.
Speaking of Spring Break…we will have a minimum day on April 9th with school dismissing at 12:05 and Spring Break beginning on Thursday, April 10, 2025.
Just a reminder that Crocs (shoes) are not allowed at school. They have holes which allow wood chips, rocks and other debris to get into the shoe which may result in injury.
We want to wish our STEM Challenge participants good luck this Saturday as they will represent Orange Glen in math and science competitions. Ms. Russo has done a great job coaching Gia, Ryan, Nadiyah, Zayden, Sadie, and Jacob for the past few months and I am sure they will do great!
Our before and after school child care program, the YMCA, has opening in all grade levels for the morning program and openings in TK, second grade, and third grade for the afternoon program. Please contact the office for an application.
This week we will start our new April Attendance Challenge! Every student who has perfect attendance for the month of April will be invited to a carnival with games, prizes, and treats. There are only 14 school days in April so this is a challenge we hope you take on.
