This year, Oak Hill has been working to expand its campus beautification project started by 2nd grade teachers Jennifer Tompkins and Olga Martinez-Dominguez. All year long, students have been taught valuable lessons regarding recycling and planet safety.
Oak Hill invested in trash grabbers of various sizes for each class. With buckets donated by EUSD painter Tom Stuppy, Mrs. Tompkins was able to coordinate a campus beautification project where students take turns helping make the Oak Hill community that much cleaner, greener and more beautiful. Mrs. Tompkins has also been working with a community volunteer and former Oak Hill parent, Mrs. Amber Francis, to paint beautiful California themed murals that have been placed around the school.
