Around 50 students attended the kickoff for our Enrichment Thursdays from 10am-12 noon. This will take place every Thursday and involves a rotation of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), Art, and Music (beginning on Thursday, September 21).
Music will take the place of Theater/Drama, which was originally part of our rotation. Alejandra Esteban-Marin, our Drama Teacher, sadly must be transferred to another elementary team . We will miss her!
Look at how beautifully she decorated and prepared her classroom! The students really enjoyed their brief time with her introduction principles and background of drama.
Mr. Tom Boyer really connected his students to exploration, design and construction activities in his STEM class while building relationships with his new students. He said, "These LLA students are the best. This is definitely going to be my favorite school in our rotation!
Ms. Emily Sprowell teaches Art and the students had a colorful, creative experience designing their portfolio folders. We cannot wait to see them full of LLA masterpiece
