Creating a community of Learning
Week 11 - October 16th, 2022
Greetings Conway Families,
Conway is alive with learning, inquiry, and engagement. As an Expeditionary Learning School, we focus on creating a community of learning together with our parents, teachers, and community partners. This week extended learning and leadership crews began! These extended learning opportunities offer adventure and inspire students to discover passions and task students to do more than they think they can.
If your student missed the after school class, please make sure they attend this week. Two unexcused absences result in dismissal from the class so a waitlist student can be afforded the opportunity to join.
The last week of October is Red-Ribbon Week. That Friday, we will close out the week with a Conway tradition, our Costume Day Parade. This week a letter will go home with details for that day.
On Thursday, three students were honored by our EUSD Board, families, and teachers. Congratulations to Pablo, Olive, and Gilberto! These scholars were the recipients of the EUSD EXCELLENCE award for Conway. Way to be EPIC!
We are grateful for the opportunity to inspire students to discover their unlimited potential through Excellence, Perseverance, Integrity, and Compassion. Together we are creating an EPIC school. We are in this together and believe, We Are Crew, not passengers.
Let's make it an EPIC week.
