Central Elementary

TK students in Mrs. Dietz' and Mrs. Reyes' classes were surprised today by a visit from the Escondido Fire Department. We have been studying vehicles in our transportation unit and there's nothing better than a REAL FIRE ENGINE to view up close. Captain Jones and firefighters Marshall and Saucedo showed the children the firefighting equipment and spoke to them about fire safety. The students all got fire helmets and badges to take home. We wonder how many will serve our community as real firefighters in the community. Maybe it will be your son or daughter. Thank you, Escondido Fire Department for serving our community!
