Wear your craziest hat for “Crazy Hat Day” to honor Joshua who was a 4th grader at Bernardo Elementary. He fought 1 year with bravery through the fight of brain cancer DMG and became an angel on February 24, 2023.
Please help us raise awareness
We will be showing our support for pediatric brain cancer patients and the need for research to cure this deadly cancer by participating in “Crazy” Caps for the Cure.
Each year over 3000 children are diagnosed with brain cancer. The Cure Starts Now is working to help fund research to stop the loss of these beautiful lives. These children with brain cancer deserve to be given a chance, and your kids can help.
Donate $1.00 to your teacher on October 17th. Please help us support these kids in their battle by donating $1.00 to your child’s teacher on October 17, 2024."
About The Cure Starts Now
The Cure Starts Now is an IRS approved 501(c)(3) non-profit. Since 2007, due to efforts like Caps for the Cure, The Cure Starts Now has been able to fund research across the globe. In conjunction with our DIPG/DMG Collaborative partners we have funded more than $18 million in research grants at 117 hospitals in 17 countries. It is our hope that this year’s “Crazy” Caps for the Cure will enable us to open up even more opportunities for these children before it is too late.
