Kindergarten Registration opens February 17, 2021, for the 2021-2022 school year.

Please note: Students applying for Kindergarten must be age 5 on or before September 1, 2021. Students applying for Transitional Kindergarten must be age 5 between September 2 and December 2, 2021. Kindergarten programs will be full-day at all 17 elementary schools for the 2021-2022 school year beginning the first day of school. All Transitional Kindergarten programs will remain a half-day program.

The information below will help you to be better prepared once registration opens February 17.

How to Register

EUSD offers online registration for new students via a website called InfoSnap.

When Kindergarten registration opens February 17, you will be asked to create an InfoSnap account before completing your child’s registration. You will also need an email address to create your InfoSnap account. If you don’t have an email address, please create a free Google Gmail address first.

If you have previously registered another new student at EUSD using InfoSnap, you will be able to sign in directly using your existing email address and InfoSnap password.

Important Documents

Kindergarten Registration will not be complete until all of the following documents have been provided to your neighborhood school of residence. Please start gathering these documents now so that your Kindergarten Registration goes as smoothly as possible after February 17:

  • Proof of residence
  • Birth certificate or other proof of birth
  • Immunization record

Get Started

  1. Find your child’s neighborhood school of residence.
  2. Complete your child’s New Student Registration through InfoSnap.

School Choice Transfers

Typically, incoming Kindergarten students attend the schools of residence that serve the neighborhood attendance areas in which they reside.

However, Kindergarten students may apply for a School Choice Intradistrict Transfer to any elementary school(s) in the district. To be considered for a School Choice transfer, you must first complete regular Kindergarten Registration beginning February 17, then submit a separate School Choice application on or before March 19.

IMPORTANT: If you are looking to register your child in Kindergarten for the current school year, you will utilize the 2020-2021 New Student Registration Form. You also will utilize the 2020-2021 New Student Registration Form if you are looking to register your child in Grades 1 through 8 for the current 2020-2021 school year, and your child was not enrolled in one of our district schools at the end of last school year.

PLEASE NOTE: The Kindergarten registration form is only if you are looking to register your child for Transitional Kindergarten or Kindergarten for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year.
