This announcement serves as a public notice that at 7 p.m. April 9, 2019, or as soon thereafter as feasible, the Escondido Union School District Board of Education at its regularly scheduled meeting will consider for approval a resolution regarding anticipated energy cost savings and other benefits from entering into a solar energy services contract, pursuant to Government Code section 4217.10 et seq.
Pursuant to one or more contracts, a firm will provide services to the district, including, but not limited to, the engineering, procurement, installation, and construction of solar-photovoltaic electricity generation and storage equipment at various school sites throughout the district. The resolution, contracts, and supporting documents will be on the regular agenda for public comment and proposed action.
The hearing will be open to the public at the Carilyn Gilbert Education Center, 2310 Aldergrove Ave., Escondido. All interested persons in attendance will have the opportunity to be heard. Written comments may be submitted to the district either during or before the public hearing. Written comments submitted before the public hearing should be sent in time to arrive at the district no later than 1 p.m. April 8, 2019, and should be emailed to Brenda Gachuz at firstname.lastname@example.org.
