Escondido Union School District has launched a new Long-Range Facilities Master Plan, a blueprint for the future of our learning environments in the K-8 district.

The accompanying Facilities Master Plan website is now live, and all stakeholders are encouraged to explore the easy-to-navigate site to learn more about our needs, priorities, and goals when it comes to ensuring the very best in education for the children of Escondido.

“This extraordinary plan will help drive future decisions,” said Superintendent Dr. Luis Rankins-Ibarra. “This master plan is designed with an eye to the future and a vision of what may be.”

The district worked with integrated design firm DLR Group for the creation of the master plan and accompanying website. Input came from students, parents, teachers, administrators, and community members.

Visitors to the Facilities Master Plan website will find EUSD’s current facility assessments, including the areas of health and safety, maintenance costs, and ADA compliance.
