### Module 1

1. Math Slide: Addition and Subtraction–This app allows up to 4 students to practice at the same time. The app has 10 levels beginning with adding using picture support. Other levels include matching the answer to a problem, finding the missing addend, adding three addends, and balancing two equations with missing addends.
2. Number Frames, by the Math Learning Center–Number Frames help students structure numbers to five, ten, twenty, and one hundred. Students use the frames to count, represent, compare, and compute with numbers in a particular range.
3. 10 Frame Fill–This app provides children practice with recognizing additive “10 Families” (e.g., 1 and 9, 2 and 8, etc.). Set the 10 Frame to fill in sequence or randomly. Use contrasting color chips to fill the 10 frame as you determine the answer. Select to show a corresponding number sentence.
4. Animal Math Games for Kids–Travel the world over from Bessie’s Farm to the plains of Africa to the deepest reaches of outer space as you join math-explorer Emma through more than 100 fun math games on a quest to help her animal friends find a way home!
5. Addition and Subtraction~Complete the Equation Free–This app will help students practice equations with unknowns. Encourage students who need it, to use manipulatives or pictures to complete the equations. Free version only covers addition 1-10 but it is still very good practice for grade 1 students.

### Module 2

1. Number Pieces Basic–Virtual place value blocks to use for addition and subtraction. Students can use blocks then use the drawing tool to write equations or other information.
2. Find Sums–Students are shown ten frame(s) and need to select all two number combinations that add together to make the target number. The target number can be any number between 5 and 20 or 100.
3. Number Flash–This app supports subitizing by flashing a group of objects in ten frames then having students identify the number of objects.
4. Make 10 Plus–This app is a tetris style game where students need to combine numbers to make the target number. The target number can be adjusted between 5-20, 60 or 100.
5. Park Math HD–This app has many interactive activities from counting to addition/subtraction.
6. 10 Frame Fill–This app provides children practice with recognizing additive “10 Families” (e.g., 1 and 9, 2 and 8, etc.). Set the 10 Frame to fill in sequence or randomly. Use contrasting color chips to fill the 10 frame as you determine the answer. Select to show a corresponding number sentence.

11. Math Word Problems–Addition and Subtraction for Kindergarten and First Grade. This app contains areas for students to sketch the problem, use a number path, use a ten frame and write an equation. It reads the question aloud for students who need that support.

### Module 5

1. Pattern Shapes, by the Math Learning Center–Students use Pattern Shapes to explore geometry and fractions, creating their own designs, or filling in outlines. As they work with the shapes students explore geometric relationships, think about angles, investigate symmetry, and compose and decompose larger shapes.
