The Escondido Union School District focuses on actualizing the unlimited potential of every learner. We strive to meet the needs of all students and to provide learning opportunities that are meaningful and engaging. In doing so, Escondido staff are committed to implementing systems within schools that both support and challenge students.
We celebrate the skills and interests that our students bring and build upon those. Academic interventions are provided to identified students, as well as educational enrichment opportunities that include art, science, music, and computer science. Escondido Union offers Extended Learning opportunities outside of the traditional school day that include after school programs providing homework help, academic tutoring, enrichment activities, and summer school. Student enrichment opportunities include:
- science and engineering projects with the San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum
- dance, theater and art instruction with the California Center for the Arts, Escondido
- robotics and coding instruction with Sylvan Edge
- mobile making labs with California State University San Marcos.
We value the relationships we have established with parents and our community. Escondido Union is committed to continue building and nourishing these partnerships as we work together to create the best possible educational experience for our students and our collective future.
