The Escondido Union School District focuses on actualizing the unlimited potential of every learner. We strive to meet the needs of all students and to provide learning opportunities that are meaningful and engaging. In doing so, EUSD educators and support staff members are committed to implementing systems within schools that support and challenge students.
We celebrate and build upon the skills and interests of our students. Academic interventions are provided to identified students, as well as educational enrichment opportunities that include art, science, music, and computer science. EUSD offers Extended Learning opportunities outside of the traditional school day, including after-school programs that provide enrichment activities, homework help, academic tutoring, and summer school.
Enrichment opportunities include:
- Science and engineering projects with the San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum
- Art instruction, dance, and theater with the California Center for the Arts, Escondido and Monart School of Art.
- Building computers, learning to code, and earning IT certification with Treobytes.
- Mobile making labs with California State University San Marcos
We value the relationships we have established with parents and our community. EUSD is committed to continuing to build and nourish these partnerships as we work together to create the best possible educational experience for our students and our collective future.
